Do I own the music?
Yes. Every track is generated for you and is royalty-free. You can upload it, monetize it, sell it or license it. Segue takes no share and claims no rights.
Will YouTube monetize a channel built with Segue?
It can, if you meet the YouTube Partner Program rules. YouTube demonetizes repetitive, mass-produced uploads, which is why Segue focuses on section editing, storyboarded videos and genre variety rather than one-click spam. No tool can guarantee monetization, including this one.
Can I put my tracks on Spotify?
Yes, through a distributor such as DistroKid or TuneCore. Download the WAV from your library and upload it there. Segue doesn't publish to Spotify for you; it makes the track you publish.
Isn't this AI slop?
Slop is lazy output uploaded without judgment. Segue gives you the tools to exercise judgment: fix the drop that doesn't land, reshoot the scene that doesn't fit, write the title yourself if ours is off. What you publish is up to you.
How does the free trial work?
You get 7 days of the full studio, free. A card is required to start (so trials stay real), nothing is charged until day 7, and you can cancel anytime with one click. Everything you make during the trial is yours to keep.
What does a credit cost me?
One credit is one track, one section edit, one video scene or one export. Your trial includes a batch of credits; paid plans renew your balance every month. You keep everything you create.
What do the tracks sound like?
Whatever you describe: lofi, ambient, synthwave, techno, drum & bass, phonk, cinematic. Music is generated by a state-of-the-art AI model. Every track is original; there are no samples, covers or cloned voices.
How long does a video take?
A track takes about a minute. Each video scene renders in two to four minutes and you can play finished scenes while the rest render. Full-length MP4 export runs on our render worker and depends on track length.
